Applications open for 2012 AIS Motocross/Off Road Women’s Development Training Camp
Motorcycling Australia (MA) is now accepting applications for the 2012 Women’s Development Training Camp for Motocross and Off Road riders, to be held at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra, from 3-7 September.
The camp will cater for up to 10 elite female athletes and is targeted at riders who are achieving outstanding results at a State or National level.
The camp will run over five days and incorporate fitness testing, physical conditioning, cross training and AIS lectures on general sports science, as well as an on-bike training component.
The Development Training Camps have run successfully since 2007, providing many of Australia’s up and coming Motocross and Off Road riders with access to elite training, education and support facilities.
Interested riders can download the application form at www.ma.org.au/forms.
Applications must be received by COB Sunday 22 July and be addressed to:
