Motorcycling Victoria's MotorSafe Program will be out in force in 2012 with the aim of creating a responsible and safe attitude towards motorcycle use amongst primary school children by educating them on issues such as safety, the law and equipment.

2012 MANUAL OF MOTORCYCLE SPORT | 
| The 2012 Manual of Motorcycle Sport contains the rules & guidelines for participating in and conducting Motorcycle Sport, and includes the General Competition Rules and other relevant information on Motorcycle Sport. The rules are designed to ensure fair and safe competition for all involved. |

| |  Historic: RACE records were broken during an incredible weekend at the 2012 Victorian Historic Road Race Championships at the State Motorcycle Sports Complex at Broadford on
April 21-22.

|  Motocross: MOTOCROSS will now be held on Saturday, May 5. Sign-on 6.30am - 7.30am. ARENACROSS will be held on Sunday, May 6. Sign-on for this will be 7.30am - 8am. Cost is $55 inclusive for the two days racing. Extra class $20.

|  Enduro: YAMAHA Motor Australia has once again swung its support behind Australian Enduro Motorcycle sport, signing its new WR450F model on as the official naming rights sponsor for the 2012 Australian Four-Day Enduro (A4DE).

|  Motocross: ROUND 2 of the 2012 Shell Advance Gippsland Motocross Championships was held at Blue Rock Motorcycle Club on April 14-15 and once again the track preparation was superb. With the sun shining we all knew that we were in for a great weekend of racing.

|  MotorSafe: MV's new MotorSafe Officer Misty Walton will be taking on the MotorSafe Program in 2012. In the past the program has proven to be highly successful, presenting to over 4000 students in Victoria in 2011.

| MotorSafe: MOTORCYCLING VICTORIA is looking for one full-time or two part-time Presenters to assist in delivering our MotorSafe Program to schools around Victoria. |
|  Enduro: THE KTM Hattah Desert Race is recognised as one of the toughest and most popular off-road races on the racing calendar. A women's class has not been run before in the desert race which is run through the Mallee scrubland near Mildura on July 7-8.

|  Historic: OVER 170 competitors, both young and old, will be taking part in an event-packed program this weekend at the 2012 Victorian Historic Road Race Championships at Broadford's State Motorcycle Sports Complex, April 21-22.

|  Motocross: DYLAN Long managed to hold onto to his overall lead in the MX Development class at Round 2 of the 2012 Monster Energy MX Nationals last weekend in Coonabarabran, and will look to build on his form going into Round 2 of the 2012 VSMXC on April 21-22, at Cobram.

|  MV: MOTORCYCLING Victoria's General Meeting that was scheduled to take place on April 11 at 7.30pm at the Newport-Braybrook Motorcycle Club in Spotswood has had to be postponed, due to lack of numbers, till Wednesday, June 13.
