We have heard today from fellow motocrosser Bret Mackley that two of his bikes were stolen last night (Monday 20th Feb) from Upwey (in the Dandenong Ranges) - here's his email and photos of the bikes are attached:
 

Hi Steve

 

I spoke to you earlier today regarding the theft of my dirtbikes last night.

The bikes were a 2009 Honda CRF150RB with a red/white and black one industries sticker kit.

The VIN is JH2KE03C09K200627.He was at Flowerberg on bike 819, I think you have photos.

 

My bike was a 2011 KTM250EXC with hyde exhaust guard, powerparts low seat, Steg Pegz and orange rim tapes.

I didn't ride Flowerberg and don't have any photos.The VIN is VBKGSA200BN258959.

 

The bikes were stolen from Glenfern Rd Upwey at 1130pm on Monday the 20th Feb while I slept.

They were chained up in a locked workshop under my house. The door lock and chain were cut with bolt cutters from the locked shed behind a gate at the rear of my house. I thought they were safe and the police were surprised at the brazen theft (their words).

I heard noises and went to investigate only to see them ride off down Clifford Gve towards Belgrave Sth.

 

Any help in their return would be greatly appreciated.
