NEW LICENSING INCENTIVES IN 2012 | MOTORCYCLING Victoria will offer worthwhile financial incentives for clubs or individuals to recruit new licence holders to the sport. These incentives, which came into effect on Monday, February 6, will be an exciting way for a club or individual to receive large financial kick-backs and will comprise of the Member Get Member Program and the Club Rebate Per-Membership Scheme. MV CEO, Andrew Weiss, said that these initiatives have been introduced to help clubs and the organisation to grow in 2012: "We are really excited to be offering our clubs and members the opportunity to earn financial discounts on their memberships in 2012 and beyond." 2012 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING REMINDER | MOTORCYCLING Victoria's AGM will take place on March 14 at 7.30pm at the Newport-Braybrook Motorcycle Club in Spotswood. SPORTING UNIFORMS GRANTS PROGRAM 2011-12 | SPORTING Clubs across Victoria have the opportunity to apply for funding for sports clothing and footwear as part of the Victorian Government's Sporting Uniform Grants Program. Up to $1000 is available to Victorian community-based clubs or organisations involved in the delivery of sporting and active recreation opportunities. There are two funding rounds in 2011-12. Funding Round 1 closed September 1, 2011 and 275 clubs were successful in gaining funding for their uniforms. Funding Round 2 opens on January 25, 2012 and close on March 1, 2012. MV WELCOMES NEW STAFF MEMBERS | MOTORCYCLING Victoria warmly welcomes two new staff members to the team in 2012.
Brittany McDonald recently joined MV in January as the Customer Service Office through AFL Sports Ready with a traineeship. Brittany's role is to manage most customer service, licensing and other administrative tasks.
