2012 VICTORIAN ROAD RACE DATES RELEASED

MOTORCYCLING Victoria is pleased to announce the following Road Race dates for 2012.

Dates and venues have been approved by Motorcycling Victoria's Road Race Management Committee for all three rounds of the 2012 Victorian Road Race Championships, as well as Historic Road Racing events, and all five rounds of the 2012 Victorian Interclub Series.

The Hartwell Motorcycle Club will be conducting a five round series, with the final round date scheduled to be held at Broadford still awaiting confirmation. Once this date is arranged it will appear on the 2012 Event Calendar.

Victoria's Preston Motorcycle Club is also looking to host a four round series across Victorian and South Australia next year. As this series has been submitted as a national series with Motorcycling Australia, these dates will not appear on the 2012 Event Calendar until approval is received from MA.

17-18: Victorian Interclub Series – Round 1, Phillip Island
24-25: 2012 Victorian Road Race Championships – Round 1, Broadford

21-22: Australian Superbike Championships – Round 2, Hidden Valley, SA
Victorian Historic Road Race Championships, Broadford

May
5-6: Australian Superbike Championships – Round 3, Barbagello, WA
19-20: Australian Superbike Championships – Round 4, Phillip Island, VIC
26-27: 2x4 Historic Winton, Winton

June
2-3: Hartwell Motorcycle Club Championships – Round 3, Phillip Island
Australian Superbike Championships – Round 5, Queensland Raceway, QLD
16-17: Victorian Interclub Series – Round 2, Broadford

Motorcycling Victoria is the State Controlling Body for all sporting and recreational motorcycling activities in Victoria. MV caters for nine different racing disciplines, including road race, and currently has around 4500 members spread over 70 clubs throughout the state.
