2012 VICTORIAN MOTOCROSS CALENDAR RELEASED

MOTORCYCLING Victoria is pleased to announce the following dates for the 2012 Victorian Motocross season. Dates have been approved for all four respective rounds of the Victorian Senior and Junior Motocross Championships, including all nine rounds of the MX Regions, and two Victorian rounds of the MX Nationals.

The official dates are as follows:

Victorian Senior Motocross Championships
Round 1 – March 17-18
Round 2 – April 21-22
Round 3 – May 26-27
Round 4 – June 23-24

Victorian Junior Motocross Championships
Round 1 – March 31-April 1
Round 2 – May 12-13
Round 3 – June 9-10
Round 4 – July 28-29

MX Regions
Round 1 – March 3-4
Round 2 – April 14-15
Round 3 – May 5-6
Round 4 – June 2-3
Round 5 – June 16-17
Round 6 – July 21-22
Round 7 – August 4-5
Round 8 – September 8-9
Round 9 – October 13-14

MX Nationals
Round 3 – April 29
Round 7 – July 15

Locations of these events will be release as soon as they are finalised by MV’s Motocross Management Committee.

Motorcycling Victoria is the State Controlling Body for all sporting and recreational motorcycling activities in Victoria. MV caters for nine different racing disciplines, including motocross, and currently has around 4500 members spread over 70 clubs throughout the state.

MV would like to wish all riders and participants a safe and enjoyable season of motocross in 2012.
