Team riders for yesterday were: Chas Hern, Nathan Mawson, Peter Berry and Joe Marrateo (in the first part of the first leg, could not continue after a crash and has some bruising and soreness to contend with). A huge thank you to Peter Berry for being ready to go when Leg 1 was restarted and enabling some well earned points for NBMCC.
Leg 2 was Chas, Nathan and Peter with Ben Scott in reserve - yet we did not need to exercise our second reserve.
Well done to the team from yesterday and throughout the year - it is great to have riders who are keen to ride for their club.

A brilliant effort yesterday, NBMC bringing home 3rd overall in the 2011 Team Shield. Chas Hern riding for Newport this year - bringing home wins in both legs of the team shield races yesterday. An incredible effort! Sandringham the triumphant 2011 winners, Preston Mc 2nd, and NBMC 3rd. More info about both races and the teams to follow!! Well done to Peter Scott and Pam Macdonald for all the hard work getting NBMC teams together all year!! If Pete and Pam can fill in the gaps for yesterday (who rode what for NBMC) that would be great! Darryl and Lynne
