June 29, 2011

Dear Clubs,

2011  ROAD RACE FORUM

Motorcycling Victoria will be hosting a Road Race Forum on Sunday, July 10, in Yarraville.

"This forum presents a wonderful opportunity for all of our stakeholders who have an opinion on the future direction of Road Racing in Victoria to voice it," said Motorcycling Victoria's Chief Executive Officer Andrew Weiss.

"This forum is all about being heard - what do our clubs, members and other key stakeholders think about the big issues facing the future of Road Racing, and the direction we should be taking," continued Mr Weiss.

This forum will cover a range of issues such as the State Championship, MV's Road Race Committee, club involvement, rule changes and procedures, MV's communications issues, and other issues that motorcycling enthusiasts would like to discuss.

"This is just a small step that we are taking to try and listen to our stakeholders and improve the services we can offer to them. If this is successful, we may see more of these types of forums run across our other disciplines as well."

An RSVP form is available on the MV website for anyone wishing to attend. All attendees need to hand in their RSVP to the MV office by June 30 to allow for catering. Click here to download MV's Road Race Forum Invitation.

The forum will be held at the Yarraville-Footscray Bowling Club at 339A Francis Street, Yarraville from 10am to 5pm.

MV urges everyone to make the most of this opportunity to come along and join in the discussion of the future of Road Racing in Victoria.
