| ESTORIL IS LORENZO'S LAND AS STONER AND SPIES CRASH
Last night we saw Jorge Lorenzo claim Estoril as his 'land' yet again, after hunting down Valentino Rossi. The Estoril track had almost dried completely before the MotoGP race after wet weather had disrupted proceedings all weekend. Ben Spies still found himself in trouble though after being caught out on the sighting lap, being thrown from his bike and dislocating his ankle. Australian Casey Stoner crashed in the early part of the race suffering another loss of the front end. Lorenzo won comfortably from Rossi, while Dovizioso completed the podium after he pipped Simoncelli at the line.
