Fullnoise.com.au to sponsor 2010 Aussie Vets MX Championship
Williams Event Management (WEM) is pleased to announce that Fullnoise.com.au has signed on as naming rights sponsor of the inaugural Australian Vets Motocross Championship.
Fullnoise.com.au – Australia's leading Off Road motorcycle website, will present the 35 to Under 40 years class, while a naming rights sponsor for the 40+ years class is yet to be announced.
The Championship will take place at the final round of the 2010 Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals at Coolum, QLD, on 23-24 July.
Fullnoise.com.au publisher Garry Morrow, was happy to be involved in the inaugural year of the Vets Championship.
"We have watched the success of the Vets Class racing on the World Championship schedule and the AMA and feel it is a positive move forward for the Australian Motocross Championship to add the classes to its line-up," Morrow said.
"A lot of the riders competing will be well known to those who have followed Motocross and we are sure the racing will be as hard and intense as it was when these guys were at the top – there's also plenty of scope for some riders formerly of the World stage taking an interest and coming down-under to race.
"WEM has constantly strived improve and grow the Championship over the last 10 years and we feel the move to add the Vets classes to the final round will be a winner for the fans – and with rumblings that the Championship may expand in 2011 we're happy to be involved from the beginning."
WEM Director Kevin Williams was thrilled to have Fullnoise.com.au on board for the Championship's debut.
"Fullnoise.com.au has been a big supporter of the Australian Motocross Championship since the site started 10 years ago, and, along with other web-media, have been a huge boost to the depth of coverage the Championship receives now," Williams said.
"With the space and accessibility the web offers, everyone from the front runners to the privateers are getting excellent coverage and the Championship has grown to become one of the most watches and reported on in the World."
Many of yesterday's stars have shown interest in competing and supporting the new Championship classes so there will be plenty of action come race day.
